The Daily identity, while very minimal at its core, required a great deal of care in production to marry the heavy, industrial aesthetic with the warm and intimate context of the store.

Tactile, human touches add to the warmth of the space. The bee and cleavers mark recessed into the concrete floor serves as one of the few direct aesthetic references to The Daily's sister/mother restaurant, Butcher & Bee. 

To ensure a seamless integration of the brand, the MODE team was allowed a great deal of input on the interior design of the store, speccing shelving types, fixtures, materials and finishes. 

The Daily menu changes, well, daily, so a flexible and easily-printable menu template had to be designed that still looked considered and integrated in the space.
