In designing an invitation package for my wedding, I took inspiration from turn-of-the-century typography and signage, and melded it with more contemporary monoweight linework. Although I took the opportunity to play with a number of techniques and materials, including letterpress, duplexing, and edge-painting, I kept the overall package simple for a restrained, classy result.
